Hacking on a new project, a runner's workout log tool, much like the bash script I've been using to log and post workouts, crunch numbers, and generate reports, only this one is a graphical, desktop application, cross-platform (so far tested on Win7 and Debian7) in Tcl/Tk, with an SQLite database.
I thought the SQLite DB stuff was going to be hard. It isn't.
So far all this does is record workouts in the DB, plus some basic config stuff.
It's not yet generating reports, and crunching numbers, but that's just a matter of having more time to code on it.
I pretty well know everything that needs to be done, just need the time to do it.
When completed, it will, of course, have the option to post workout logs to friendica, redmatrix, and most likely, wordpress blogs.
I'll build in control of xposting from red and friendica so workouts can be xposted wherever, but I'll also build in a wordpress specific function.
Lots to do! But I've got a good start in about 4 hours of hacking on it today.
And, as always, fully 100% GPL, Free Software.
